bunk beds!

In preparation for baby #3 coming in April, we bought bunk beds for the kids to share. They were both very excited to have new beds! We'll have to get Benjamin some boy bedding to counter act all the purple in Jaelyn's room! But, I don't think he'll mind it for a couple years. Jaelyn has done fabulous sleeping on the top bunk - no problems!! She thinks it's really cool to be sleeping so high up! We did put a nightlight in her room to help her get down the ladder in the middle of the night if she needs to use the bathroom, etc.

Snow Blizzard!

We keep getting snow!! It snowed the entire day today...little flakes, but snow nonetheless!! Not sure how much we've gotten over the course of 4 days, but I'm sure we are ~10 inches or so! Opa & Oma brought over their toboggan to go sledding - - put a little wax on it and a new rope and it was good to go! The kids LOVED getting pulled up and down the hill by Daddy! Since nobody was really traveling on the roads, we could sled down our street! Super fun and lots of giggles!!

The White Stuff!

It's a winter wonderland outside! We probably have about 3 inches of the white stuff! The kids had lots of fun playing in the snow today - throwing snowballs at Daddy, making snow angels, and making tracks through the yard. Such fun!
