Getting in the Christmas Spirit

The kids begged me to pull out the gingerbread houses....so we did them while Brooke was taking her nap.  It was interesting to see each kids personality show through with decorating their house!

And then we had to decorate our tree!  It's a bit top heavy because of Brooke - but still we love it!  The smell of our noble fir is yummy and it was a blast to reminisce as we put up the ornaments!

Ben's Thanksgiving Feast

Our visit with cousins!

 

Yay for a fun visit with Aidan, Brennan & Allie (oh, and of course Uncle Brian & Aunt Heather!).  It was such a treat to have them fly out to our neck of the woods!  The kids got to skip school for some much needed play time with their cousins!  What fun!  We really didn't have to go anywhere b/c the kids had fun just doing what kids do best...play!  However we still went on a couple outings - to the Museum of Flight and a hike up to Twin Falls.  Other than that, the kids had a blast playing dress up, playing "spy", making bracelets (thanks Aidan!), playing lots of soccer outside, playing board games, & baking cookies....phew!  They were busy all day long...and the decibel level in the house showed!  :)  It was fun to hear all the giggles and see them enjoy each other!  Can't wait to see them again soon.
