Remlinger Farms

What a blast we had at Remlinger Farms today!!  There was SO much to see and do...below is a snapshot of some of the fun we had with our cousins Elisabeth & Emily and friends Kora & Celia.

First up were the pony rides!

 Then it was off to the canoe rides

 and even Brooke got a chance to go for a ride, thanks to big sister holding onto her!

 And can't forget about driving those cars...it even had 2 steering wheels (perfect!)

Brooke was such a trooper the entire time.  I was pushing it with staying WAY past her nap time...and by the time we left the parking lot for home she was zonked out!

However, hands down the kids' most favorite ride was the roller coaster.  Going mid week was a perfect idea because there were not a lot of people there...hence no waiting in lines for all the rides!  The kids probably rode this roller coaster 6 or 7 times!  They would finish the ride and run back in line to go again.  SO fun!!  :)

 So fun to hear the kids scream at the top of their lungs as they went down the hill!  They liked to sit in the very back because it went the fastest!

Love the memories we made - kids can't wait to go back for more!

Lincoln Rock State Park

Another 4th of July week of camping has come and gone.  We had such a great time camping with everyone again!  7 families camped together of which 18 were kiddos!  Such fun making memories together...already the kids are looking forward to next year!  Here is a little snapshot into our camping adventure! 

One new thing we did was went blueberry picking!  We went to Crazy Larry's Berries in Cashmere and had a blast.  We picked 5 lbs in 15 minutes...there were so many blueberries!

Even Brooked helped in her own little way...staying occupied & not getting into too much trouble!

We went down to the river each day - boy was the water super cold...but fun nonetheless!

The water guns got lots of use by the kids...such fun & lots of giggles!

Cousins!!  Kids pretty much were in their bathing suits all day/everyday!

What was great this year is that the kids went off and made up great adventures together - - this was one of their "hideouts" as they called it.  It was great to see them get along with everyone and play the entire day!

Gotta love being able to just wear a swim diaper and cool off with a hose!

birthday boy!

Benjamin turns 4 today!!  Happy Birthday, kiddo!! 

   It was a beautiful (& hot!) summer evening for his racin' car birthday!  We had the sprinkler goin' and the bouncy house ready for his cousins to have fun in.  Brats was his choice for dinner...along with watermelon, doritos, a veggie salad (mommy's choice!), and cake.  It was fun to celebrate you, Ben!  You never cease to amaze us - we are looking forward to what this year will bring you!!
