Surf Cup Challenge

This Thanksgiving Jaelyn and I came down to San Diego for her to play in the Surf Cup Challenge. The girls played their hearts out!  We were 1-2 over the tournament.  We lost to Beach FC 6-5, beat Encinitas Express 5-4, and lost to Surf academy 7-1.  Well done girls! So proud of you, Jaelyn!  You battled all weekend long!

Having Fun....

Jaelyn's team enjoyed "Midnight madness" at EHS - - without the midnight!  The girls had fun watching the girls varsity team practice and then run drills with them.  A fun night!  In 5 years they will be in high school...gulp!

Champs!

Great game, girls!

Jaelyn & Hadley had to play against Sofia in the final game!  It was fun to watch them guard each other.  At the start of the game there was a few smiles, but the competitive face was on the rest of game!  Glad all 3 girls are on the same soccer team!

Eastlake Hoopfest

Basketball tournament #3 in 4 weeks for this girl!  Fun to watch her play!!

First game to foul out with 1 minute left to play in the game.  She gave it everything she had - left everything out on the court...sweat and tears!  So, so proud of her!

Eastlake Select Basketball

Jaelyn's 4th grade select basketball team!

Such a blast to watch Jaelyn play ball.  She is a "predator" as her coach calls her...has quite the tenacious defense. I feel for whoever she has to defend because it will be a rough game for the them!  She has such a knack for stealing the ball!  If a team has a dominant player, they look to Jaelyn to shut her down.

It's great to get these emails in your inbox:
"Jaelyn is playing incredibly well - it's great she's on the team - she adds a lot - one of the best athletes in my limited years I've been around.  Great attitude, hard worker, really good competitor."

"Jaelyn's great, she should feel very good about how heavily Tony and I rely upon her to be a leader on the team, a great offensive player, and our defensive stopper."

Flag Football Champions!

The patriots won the Championship game!
It was a very wet and muddy game - the boys had a blast and got super dirty!
