Another beautiful day for t-ball!  Ben's been having games on Wednesday nights & Saturday mornings - 12 games in all.  It's been fun to see the Philies get a little better each game!

Spring Soccer!

Another season of soccer is upon us!!  Glad to have the Rock Star team back in full force including Jaelyn's friend Taylor.  They are already doing a lot more passing/crossing which is super fun to watch!

It was a fun evening celebrating with family!  A salmon dinner (courtesy of Daddy's fishing efforts!) and 2 cakes to choose between - an ice cream cake (Jaelyn's request) and a chocolate with bavarian cream cake. Yummy!  I didn't do a good job of taking pictures at the party...must have been having too much fun.  

Most definitely Brooke's favorite gift.  She is completely into babies and LOVES having her own stroller, pack n play, & bouncy seat.  It's adorable to watch her take care of her dollies!  :)

Jaelyn's goin' to horse camp this summer!  She is super pumped!  :)

T-ball

Ben's first t-ball game - even in the torrential rain!  What fun to watch him out there!  He's sporting Daddy's number 7 even though I tried to get him to wear Mommy's number 14.  It's so stinking cute to watch him play!

Started heading to 3rd base before he re-directed to 1st base!  So cute.

Happy Birthday!!

You are SEVEN today!!  Happy Birthday sweetie!!

We had a little birthday celebration before school because of our busy/hectic afternoon and evening (soccer practice & school meeting).  Daddy went to work late and made some yummy french toast plus you got to open up some of your presents!  Brooke didn't quite understand that it was YOUR day....

Yep...you've been asking for one of these things for awhile now.....happy brushing kiddo!  :)

Krispie Kreme donuts for your class in the morning and a surprise lunch date at school with Mommy complete with Chipotle yumminess rounded out your special day at school! We hope you felt very special today as you are one special daughter!  We love you to pieces!  You amaze us everyday by who you are becoming,  You are smart, athletic, kind, silly...the list can go on and on....but above all, you love God and that's the most important thing!  Can't wait to see what year 7 brings to you!!

Happy Birthday, Brooke!

A snapshot of Brooke at 2 yrs old:

• Loves to just run around in her diaper (or even prefers to take it off - much to the dismay of Mommy!  Yep...even at the McDonald's playland...we saw your little bummers!  And if you could see the bottom half of this picture it would just be her diaper!  :)
• Sits on the toilet and pretends to go to the bathroom - tells me when she needs her diaper changed.  I'm just not quite ready to dive in and do the potty training thing yet.
• Loves to wear her helmet & "ride" her strider bike
• Says many words that we can understand: ball, cracker, salsa (she is quite the dipping fanatic...will eat straight up salsa, guac, anything!), cheese, water, "baaa", "ssss" (for snake), thank you, where are you?, I love you, Momma, Dadda (and when she really wants one of us shes says Dadda-Momma together), apple, baby, ma/pa (for Oma & Opa), bus, and the list seems to keep growing daily.
• Weight: 26 lbs (40%)

• Favorite toy:  baby doll/stroller/pack n play - she is quite into babies
• Favorite book:  The bus book - but really any book is good for her.  The latest thing she has been doing is "reading" a book to herself.  So precious.  She'll sit on the couch for quite some time reading.  I've even caught her reading to her babies!
• "Sings" in the car & is very particular which CD she wants to listen too!
• Favorite food:  cereal - either Honey Bunches of Oats or Life cereal, yogurt, strawberries, quesadilla - dipped in salsa, cheese, crackers

• Will only let Mommy put her to bed at night (Grrrr....)
• Doesn't fight daddy anymore to get her fingernails cut!  hurray!!  :)

We LOVE you Brooke!  We pray this coming year will be filled to smiles & laughter as you continue to grow into the person God will have you become!  You are precious to us! 

Snoqualmie Falls

 Daddy had the day off and it was the end of our spring break...so we decided to head to Snoqualmie Falls and take in a little hike together as a family.  It was fun!  Need to do this more often!

Spectacular view of the falls!  Only had to bribe Ben with 10 jellybeans if he wouldn't complain about hiking back up the hill!  Reminded me of being bribed with ice cream as a kid with certain hikes!  ha!
