Nike Crossfire Challenge

Jaelyn's 1st Crossfire Tournament!

The girls played through hot, hot weather this weekend!  90+ degree temperatures. Boy...that's a killer.  But they fought hard and played great.  They lost in the semi-finals 2-1, but played hard.  Jaelyn played almost the entire game and left everything out on the field.  Proud of #17!

 She's got wheels!
Ready for the game to begin - game face on.
Tenacious & fast.  So fun to watch her play!
Nothin' better than a shaved ice treat after her first win!

Birthday party #3

We finally had our family birthday party for Ben - ice cream cake was his cake of choice...again!

Can you say a little bit excited for this gift?  Cute.

Uncle Tom helping Ben out with his new bow and arrow.
Just another adorable picture - love you buddy!  Happy Happy Birthday to you!
Star Wars LEGOS - - a big hit.  So fun that he can create them all by himself!  :)  He must be getting big!

Remlinger Farms Fun

We had a super fun day at Remlinger Farms.  We couldn't have picked a better day to go!  After record temperatures and hot weather....today was a cloudy day with highs in the 70's.  It was so great to not have to lather the kids in sunscreen and sweat just walking around!!  Ha!  I'm such a PNW girl!  :)  Anyway, we hit the park right when it opened and pretty much closed up shop.  Exhausted Kids = Great day!

The crew going for a train ride
Brooke's first pony ride!  She rode Peaches!

 Ben's pony!

Canoe fun.  Jaelyn will be too big next summer!!
Big sisters are the best.  Jaelyn takes such good care of Brooke!
Hands down...the kids' most favorite ride.
Brooke was tall enough to go without an adult.  She loved being a "big girl"!  I love that Jaelyn is holding on tight to Brooke.  Hand over Heart.  Love.

Lincoln Rock State Park

Our annual 4th of July camping trip to Lincoln Rock State Park is in the books.  It was a *hot* one - triple digits everyday we were there!  Yikes...when the car read 109 on the first day, we knew it was gonna be crazy hot!  So thankful for our trailer and AC so that we could retreat and get some relief when we needed it.  As always we had a super fantastic time and the kids did not want to leave - Brooke was in tears and asking why we had to go home.  :)  Until next time....

 Bathing Beauties!
Hailey & Jaelyn keeping cool in the lake
Ben trying out his new snorkel gear - loved seeing the fish underwater
Cousin Emily and Brooke ready for the water!
Always super fun doing the slip n slide!

Crazy Larry's Berries - picked 17 lbs of blueberries!  Always a tradition to pick blueberries while camping at LRSP.

New tradition this year:  Leavenworth's city pool.  Super great pool that has something fun for everyone!  Great little day trip from camp!  This is a "must do" every year!

12 ft deep end - endless fun diving and doing other crazy jumps!
