o christmas tree

We set out to find the perfect Christmas tree after church on Sunday.  We decided to try out a new place - tons of trees to choose from.  It's quite the ordeal running to find the tree that we all liked the best!  Jaelyn & Ben are standing in front of the tree we ended up cutting down.
Brooke thought this was a good tree!  Maybe in a few years!  :)
Daddy doing the honors of cutting down our tree.
Good thing Daddy has muscles!!  :)
We are all pleased to find the perfect tree!  Time to go home and get some hot chocolate...boy, it was cold outside!  :)

Brooke has the best vantage point - on Opa's shoulders!
Jaelyn & Kora all smiles after their WIN!  The Rock Stars are undefeated - - even with playing in the U9 league!  These girls are fun to watch!

let it snow

We woke up to the kids yelling, "it's snowing outside!".  The kids threw on their snow gear and were out the door by 7:30am to play in the snow! :)
It's a winter wonderland!

Thanksgiving Feast

Ben's Pre-K class dressed up as pilgrims!
Ben's turkey disguised as a firefighter so that he won't be eaten for Thanksgiving!  His turkey is complete with a mask, air tank and water hose!!
Ben's place setting.  He's writing his name so well these days!  And...you can never have enough hand prints!  So cute.  The thanksgiving feast had all the trimmings:  turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, rolls, cranberry sauce, beans/corn, and pumpkin pie.  Yummy!
Me and my favorite pilgrim

Saturday mornings

Our Saturdays are filled with basketball games - sometimes 3 if one of the kids has a double header!  So fun to watch the kids excel at basketball and get better and better as the season goes on!
A bit blurry shot, but Jaelyn shot & made this bucket!
Playing defense!  She takes after her Momma and is aggressive!  :)
Listening to her coach
This is the last year that the girls wear wristbands to know who they are supposed to guard.  Here they are lining up to see who they have.  Cute!
Ben shooting the ball!  Go Creepers!  :)
It's been super fun to watch him progress with skill as the season has gone on.  Oddly enough, he only dribbles with his right hand!  Interesting.  :)
