Trick-or-Treat!

All 3 kiddos ready for trick-or-treating!!  We had a princess fairy, monkey, & special forces army guy this year.

First stop is always our neighbor Karin - nothing but BIG candy to choose from!! :) Brooke was hilarious the entire night!  She did not want to be in the stroller.  Nor did she want to be held.  You would have thought that she had trick or treated many times the way she acted!!  She tried so hard to keep up with Jaelyn & Ben and all their friends...running as fast as her little legs could to get to the front door.  She was on a mission and wanted her candy!  :)

Our neighbor Karin thought Marcus needed a costume too - the gorilla mask didn't go over well with Brooke...so they broke out the missing child milk jug!  Ha!

 Since I didn't know if the weather would cooperate for Halloween night, I had the kids pose for pictures the day before!  They are such troopers!  We ended up with awesome weather on Halloween...but I couldn't help but post these pics too!

We took our family pictures at Bellevue Botanical Gardens this year.  We were able to get a few keepers!  :)

 

 

 

Salty's at Alki & Papa!

Papa came for a short visit!!  We love it when he comes to Washington & we get to play with him!!  We hope we didn't tire him out too much while he was here!  To highlight a few things we this weekend with him:  Jaelyn & Benjamin got to go to the movie theater to see Despicable Me 2 (& he spoiled them with movie theater popcorn!), treated the whole family to the most yummy brunch on the planet at Salty's on Alki Beach, played lots of different board games and card games with J & B, played at the park, and even started a new tradition of getting yogurt at night.  We just didn't go once...but two times!!  What fun...you are welcome to come back anytime, Papa!  We made some great memories together.

The Rockstars!

Jaelyn's U7 team was undefeated this year!  It was really fun to watch them grow and develop over the season.  They even picked up an extra scrimmage with another team that was creaming their opponents they played...and we still beat them by 1 or 2 goals!  It was great to see Jaelyn play on a team and meet some new friends.  The Rockstars couldn't get enough of soccer and signed up for a winter session of indoor soccer.  So fun!  :)

Pumpkin Patch

Another gorgeous fall day...perfect weather to enjoy the pumpkin patch at South 47th Farm!  Kettle Corn, Hay Ride, duck races & pumpkins...what more could you ask for?!

Oxbow Farm

We love going to Oxbow farm - and Ben's preschool class went there!  It's such a great little farm - kids get to learn how plants grow, get to eat some veggies straight from the garden and of course....get to go to the pumpkin patch!  It was especially fun for us because it was a mommy/Ben date!  What fun to do something just the two of us!  I don't know how many times Ben kept telling me - - "this field trip is SO much fun!" or "I love you" or "when can we do this again?" Awww....love you buddy!
