This year we decided to go to a tree farm and cut down our own Christmas tree! Having a real Christmas tree is a completely new endeavor for me because I grew up with my Grandma & Grandpa Post's artificial tree and Marcus' & my first apartment was 688 square feet - - so we bought a slim 7 foot fake tree - best of all it was pre-lit! Anyway, I really wanted to have a real/yummy smelling tree in our house this year - - so I persuaded Marcus to try it with me! We'll see how it goes this Christmas season and whether or not we try and find a steal of a deal in the after Christmas sales!We bundled up the kids and headed to Carnation Tree Farm. We strolled up and down the trees to find the perfect one - it's harder than you think!

Hooray!!! We love the smell of pine in our house! Going to get our tree tomorrow. :) Love all the pics from Thanksgiving!!!
