Brooke & I made an unexpected trip back to Grand Rapids to be with my dad who had open heart surgery. She was a trooper and did amazingly well on the plane. She only took 20 minutes of shut eye on the plane, but was happy the entire time. She went with the flow while we were in GR....answer to prayer!
Brooke was the best kind of medicine for Papa! He's lookin' pretty good
after a big time surgery! Oh, and happy 64th birthday, Dad!

Ready to fly back home! Gotta love being upgraded to "economy plus" seating so that I could have an aisle seat!
